Pointe Classes
At TAPA, we believe in prioritising the safety and well-being of our dancers. Our Pointe Classes are offered after a comprehensive Pointe Assessment, which includes strength testing, feet flexibility assessment, and a thorough evaluation of readiness for pointe work.
This assessment ensures that each dancer is physically prepared to begin their journey en pointe, minimizing the risk of injury and promoting a positive dance experience.

Why Take Pointe Classes at TAPA?
Safety First
At TAPA, the safety of our students is paramount. Our specialised teachers are trained to assess readiness for pointe work meticulously. We prioritise gradual and safe progression, ensuring that each dancer is individually evaluated and supported throughout their pointe journey. Our dancers and parents trust us to make informed decisions regarding their readiness for pointe, due to the experience of our assessor and teachers. This creates a culture of trust, safety, and excellence in dance education.
Please be aware that we will assess your pointe skills in your trial classes (if you have come from outside of TAPA training). This is only for your safety and to know the level you’re working at.
Thank you.
