Mini & Junior Acro Classes

At TAPA our Mini & Junior Acro classes offer a unique blend of dance and acrobatics tailored for young learners. These classes are designed to introduce students to fundamental acrobatic skills in a safe and progressive manner, fostering strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence.

Our teachers are trained and qualified in the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, providing expert guidance in safe and professional acrobatic training.

Mini Acro:

  • Introduction to Basics: Focuses on developing body awareness, balance, and basic motor skills through fun and engaging activities.

  • Tumbling: Introduces foundational tumbling skills such as forward rolls, backward rolls, cartwheels, and introduction to walkovers.

  • Flexibility and Strength: Includes exercises to improve flexibility and build core strength, preparing students for more advanced skills.

Junior Acro:

  • Progressive Skill Development: Builds on foundational skills with a focus on advancing tumbling techniques and acrobatic movements.

  • Intermediate Tumbling: Includes skills like handstands, walkovers and introducing aerials and handsprings, emphasizing proper technique and safety.
